Tales of the Penobscot Bay

Produced and Edited by David A. Martin

In the summer of 2019, The Vacationland Collective began production on an ambitious anthology consisting of four short films, all taking place in and around Little Deer Isle, Maine. - Kid Captain, Annabelle, Randy’s Morning Commute, and Blood Buoy.

These four films follow the lives of a disaffected college student looking for adventure, a pair of children forced to grapple with love and loss at an early age, a down on his luck gas station employee running late for work, and a lobsterwoman looking for revenge. We are led through these slices of life by our trusty tour guide Meek, as our protagonists’ stories populate the pages of the “Penobscot Bay Times.”
